Cory D. Raines

Attorney Raines has represented individuals and organizations in a variety of business and civil matters. Prior to founding Raines Legal Group, P.C., he worked for two Atlanta area law firms where he focused on litigation and bankruptcy. His current practice primarily consists of representing established and emerging entertainment and sports professionals. He specializes in drafting contracts, business consulting, general representation and has successfully negotiated and closed licensing, management, touring, and record deals for his diverse client list. As a litigator, he has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for his clients through lawsuits involving civil liability and business disputes. He has appeared before federal district court and has practiced in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia
Attorney Raines earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. During his time in law school, he served as a legal intern for the Coca-Cola Company, clerked for several law firms and legal organizations, and served as a Faculty Research Fellow for Professor Matthew I. Hall.
With the creation of Raines Legal Group, he is committed to the practice of law and is dedicated to helping his clients successfully resolve their legal issues. Attorney Raines was born in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys listening to music, trying new restaurants, and watching sports.
