Craig C. Stern
Craig C. Stern is a founding partner of Rodriguez Stern, and focuses on the firm’s civil, corporate, and estate planning practice. He has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in all matters of litigation, including negligence and workers’ compensation claims, as well as forming corporations and limited liability entities, drafting contracts, and advising on general corporate matters. Attorney Stern is also highly experienced working with financial service professionals, including accountants and financial advisors, and assists their clients by drafting wills, trusts, and handling general estate planning matters. Prior to Rodriguez Stern, Attorney Stern worked as Corporate Counsel in the Office of the Corporate Secretary at John Hancock Financial Services, where he handled corporate law and governance issues. Having held his FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, Attorney Stern also worked as a Consultant for John Hancock Investments, where he provided wealth management solutions to financial advisors for use with their clients. Prior to that, he worked as a solo practitioner and as an associate attorney at Cogavin & Waystack, in Boston, where he handled insurance defense issues, including negligence claims, workers’ compensation, products liability, and appellate matters. Attorney Stern began his legal career at Scalli & Murphy, LLC in Everett, where he assisted in both criminal and civil cases. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nichols College, and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Framingham State College. Attorney Stern is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations and serves on the Framingham State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2010.
