Cynthia D. Rendon
Results-Oriented Family and Divorce Lawyer who Puts the Client First
I feel most comfortable in a courtroom advocating for my clients and arguing their cases. Years ago, one of my clients called me the "velvet hammer" and it's a nickname that has stuck. I try cases because I enjoy helping people, however, I am also a huge advocate of the mediation process and enjoy cominging up with creative solutions to help my clients reach an amicable resolution. My reputation for thorough preparation and effective advocacy enables my clients a range of options including disposition of the case in their favor through motion practice, settlement, trial, or even reaching a favorable settlement during trial. I approach all of my cases with a passion for the law, intellectual rigor, creative thinking, and a commitment to excellence.
For the past 5 years, I have been recognized as a "Top Lawyer" in Adoption, Marital and Family Law by Houstonia Magazine. I have also been recognized as a "Best Attorney" in Family Law by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
