Cynthia J. Ponce
Cynthia Ponce joined Walzer Melcher LLP shortly after being admitted to the State Bar of California. Prior to her admission to the bar, Cynthia already had extensive experience in family law. While she was an undergraduate at Mount St. Mary’s College, she volunteered at the Family Law Self Help Resource Center at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse assisting self-represented litigants navigate their way through the family court system. After college, she worked as a legal assistant at a family law firm and pursued her law degree at Southwestern Law School in the evenings. Cynthia managed to also volunteer at the Los Angeles County Bar Association Domestic Violence Project assisting victims of domestic violence obtain restraining orders.
As a result of her dedication to family law and academic excellence in family law related coursework, Cynthia received the Max A. Goodman Scholarship and the Family Law Bridge Scholarship while at Southwestern Law School.
