Legal Answers
Q. Had court supervision for 18 months a year ago would I be able to qualify after 7 months after it ended to get supervis
A: Yes. You can be placed on supervision two times in any 12-month period. So I’m the last 12 months, you have not been placed on court supervision.
Q. I received a ticket in a construction zone 73 in 55 no workers present. I have no other tickets. Am I better off
A: You should probably consult with an attorney who knows the courthouse you will be in. It’s always good to learn the pros and cons
Q. First ticket did not understand supervision, just said guilty. 2nd ticket can I get supervision?
A: You are not eligible to mail in and request supervision with the traffic school. You can appear in court, plead guilty and request supervision. The judge can grant supervision at that time. You will have to pay the additional court costs to appear in court. It’s possible the judge doesn’t grant supervision because you have that prior offense. You should consult with a local traffic attorney.
