Dana Green
Don't procrastinate if you want to avoid costs and delays of probate!
Dana L. Green is an Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney in North County, San Diego serving all of California. She was born in New York and was raised bi-coastally in New York and California. She received her B.A. in Finance and Business Economics with an emphasis in Spanish and French from Goucher College and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Dana is admitted to the bar in three states: California, New York and Connecticut.
She has practiced in various fields of law over the years including Insurance Defense Litigation, Family Law and Real Estate Law before starting her own practice specializing in Estate Planning and Elder Law. She is also a trained Mediator (Family and Civil).
Her passion is educating people and providing peace of mind by preparing them for the unexpected. It’s never too soon to create an estate plan. Estate planning is not just for the old or the wealthy. An estate plan is more important than a credit card, so don’t leave home without one! If you procrastinate, it may be too late to avoid probate!
Dana has found a niche that helps all single adults with a very important and often overlooked need. Her Peace of Mind package is for anyone 18 or older that is not married – be it never married, divorced, widowed, involved in a long term though unmarried relationship, LGBTQ or high school/college aged young adults once they turn 18. It gives parents and young adult children comfort knowing that in case of an emergency, parents can still assist their children. For those single adults that are now divorced, it is important to choose new agents for their documents because California is one of only 10 states that voids agreements entered into during marriage once that marriage is over.
Dana has always been involved in philanthropic endeavors and is on the Board of Directors of several local non-profits and other organizations.
