Dan DiCicco knows that conflicts are an inevitable part of doing business. He also understands that it’s important for clients to make smart, strategic, and tactical decisions during times of conflict to achieve their business goals.
Dan is a trial attorney who both defends claims and pursues civil litigation on behalf of companies with complex legal disputes. He has a particular emphasis on software and hardware intellectual property litigation. From software companies to apparel manufacturers to construction companies and large regional car dealerships, he has represented all types and sizes of companies in Oregon and across the country. Dan has tried more than fifty cases to verdict during his career.
Dan has deep expertise in the software and technology industries. Not only is he a talented lawyer, but he is a computer scientist and the founder of video game studio Zero Sum Games. In that role, he created the popular “StarDrive” video game series, and he partnered with major entertainment and technology companies to create high-tech brand experiences at installations across the globe.

- A: It sounds like you are good to go. Good luck. Also - buy some insurance, and talk to a lawyer about your independent contractor and customer contracts. All of this can save you headaches in the future.

- A: Short answer: yes. There is a presumption of equal contribution to marital assets. You might look at the equity in the home at the time of the marriage, and set that aside for her. All of the equity growth since that point would be looked at as marital property.
