She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from University of Southern California and her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She started her career representing survivors of domestic violence in restraining order hearings, and divorce and paternity matters. Darlene specializes in domestic violence and complex child custody matters involving allegations of child abuse, parental alienation, substance abuse, mental illness, and children with special needs, cases involving complex financial assets, and domestic and international jurisdiction disputes. Working closely with other professionals in assisting clients including forensic accountants and psychologists is an essential component of Darlene’s practice. Darlene has integrated Collaborative Law into her representation strategy and has training as a mediator.
