I am a tax attorney dedicated to assisting individuals and businesses in managing a wide range of IRS tax issues, from tax liens and wage garnishments to payroll tax debt and IRS audits.
I earned my B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and my Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., with a focus on business and federal taxation law. I began my career as a commercial business litigator in Washington, D.C., and moved to New York City to work at Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, one of the world’s most prestigious law firms. During my time there, I represented multinational corporations, focusing on financial audits, tax implications analysis, commercial litigation, and investigations into financial reporting and accounting procedures.
As a licensed federal tax lawyer, I am authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states under IRS Circular 230. I hold active bar memberships in New York and Maryland and I am also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court for federal tax cases nationwide.
In 2011, I established my law firm, Delia Law P.C., to focus exclusively on helping clients manage and resolve complex IRS tax issues. Delia Law services include negotiating Offers in Compromise, IRS tax audits and appeals, setting up full pay and reduced payment plans, tax opinion letters, tax strategy, financial hardships, bank levy and wage garnishment releases, payroll tax relief, tax fraud and other collections issues.
