Biography

Porrino Law PC operates under the guidance of principal Dominic H. Porrino, who entered law practice with the intention of protecting the assets and safety of citizens by helping them negotiate the complexities of the California legal system. The competitive spirit that prompted him to play lacrosse and rugby in his youth now drives development of strategies to protect the best interests of his clients.

Mr. Porrino, an attorney whose practice encompasses legal separation, divorce, child custody and support, estate planning and other civil matters, obtained his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007. Mr. Porrino’s fundamental interest in people prompted him to major as an undergraduate student in psychology, a course of study that has given him insights into the emotional toll of separation, divorce and child custody proceedings. As a result, Mr. Porrino treats his clients with compassion and understanding.

Mr. Porrino is a member of the California Bar Association, and its Family Law and Estate Planning sections. He is also a member of the family law section of the Sacramento County Bar Association. He volunteers his legal expertise as a family law and simple wills attorney for the AIDS Legal Referral Panel (ALRP).
