Donna E. Lurie
Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC)
In addition to a college degree in Labor Relations and a Law degree, Donna has specialized in employment and discrimination law throughout her career. She has adjudicated 120+ arbitration cases in the public and private sectors, mediated 100+ workplace disputes, served as a lead in contract negotiations, and co-chaired labor-management committees on numerous issues. Donna has served as a Hearing Officer, Arbitrator, Mediator, and organizational development consultant since 2012. Donna has developed job classification systems, evaluation protocols, and employee handbooks for nonprofit organizations and public agencies.
Donna is the former Chair of the King County Bar Dispute Resolution Section, a former member and speaker for the Northwest ADR Conference, and a current member of the Planning Committee for the Pacific Coast Labor & Employment Conference. She is the founder of a Multicultural Steering Committee for East King County community organizations working to reduce cultural and linguistic barriers to mental health resources and services.
