Edward H. Maginnis
Maginnis HowardI am the managing attorney of Maginnis Howard, a Wake County civil litigation firm located in Raleigh, NC. Unlike many firms, Maginnis Law represents both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits. On the plaintiffs side, my practice is focused on consumer class actions and business litigation. I am the former chair of the Consumer Areas of Practice at the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. We handle, on a contingency basis, consumer cases falling under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the corresponding state law statutes which provide protection to victims of overly aggressive corporations who care little about having accurate records and consumer friendly policies and procedures. We take the fight to those corporations. In business law, we represent corporations and LLCs, from Fortune 500 companies to small business start ups in contract disputes, minority shareholder cases, non-compete and trade secret violations. Our wage and hour cases are focused on representing employees who are wrongfully being denied overtime, bonuses, minimum wage, commissions, or other income owed to them. Visit our website at www.maginnishoward.com to hear more about what we do and to see case results reflecting our experience in consumer, employment, and business law matters.
