Grayson & Monroe, PLLC
Ekecia Grayson, Esq. is a second-generation Tampa native who is eager to assist members of her community in navigating the bankruptcy landscape. Ms. Grayson brings to the table a unique and varied skillset developed over the course of her legal career and a desire to uplift those who seek her services. She is adept at working with people from various backgrounds and evaluating issues from many perspectives.
She gained experience in financial matters while serving as the Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. As a key attorney in the Division of Consumer Finance, she represented the agency in prosecuting violations of law. In this capacity she worked with both agency personnel and professional license holders to ensure the protection of Florida citizens in money-related matters.
As Assistant State Attorney in the Division of Economic Crimes, Ms. Grayson fought for justice on behalf of victims of crimes involving monetary harm. As a trained litigator, she learned to thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing practical, effective representation for her clients, even in critical financial situations with potentially sweeping effects.
Ms. Grayson also zealously represented the interests of businesses in her civil litigation practice. She learned that, while autonomy is beneficial, a collaborative work environment is invaluable in obtaining optimum results in favor of each client. This is why the attorneys at Grayson & Monroe work as a team on every case to ensure that every client receives comprehensive representation in the bankruptcy process.
At Grayson & Monroe consumer bankruptcy is our primary focus. Our clients can be sure that they will be treated as more than just another bankruptcy case. Your case will receive the attention to detail it deserves while also receiving legal representation by not one, but two seasoned attorneys helping to guide you through the bankruptcy process.
