Elaine Martin has specialized in immigration law since 1997.
She worked with the world’s largest corporate immigration law firms for more than eight years, advising businesses of all sizes, ranging from multinational Fortune 500 corporations to start-up ventures and sole proprietorships. In addition, she was responsible for all individual client casework, providing services in family-based immigration petitions.
Elaine has spoken at a number of immigration seminars around the United States and has been quoted by reporters in journal articles about immigration. She also provides valuable immigration training to groups at her corporate clients’ sites.
Elaine received her law degree from University College Dublin. She is admitted to practice in the State of Texas (1995) and in Ireland (1986). She is licensed to practice in all Texas courts, the Federal District for the Northern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Elaine brings valuable personal experience and passion to her work as an immigration lawyer - she immigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1994. Before this, Elaine practiced law in Europe for eight years, including working for the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium and with ABN-AMRO Bank.

- Managed one team responsible for all NIV and Adjustment of Status/Consular Processing matters for a major multinational mobile phone and communications company. The company initiated approximately 50 NIV matters a month, primarily H-1B, L-1, L-1 blanket, TN and extensions. Managed a second team that was responsible for all immigration work for approximately 60 smaller companies. The companies had up to 100 foreign nationals and my team was responsible for NIV, PERM, legacy labor certifications, I-140s (EB-1,2 and 3), AOS, consular processing, re-entry permits and naturalization. Managed family-based immigration and individual cases for the Dallas office. Advised companies on the immigration implications of corporate restructuring and layoffs.
