Elizabeth A. Kayatta

Elizabeth Kayatta is an impassioned advocate for her clients with a track record of success in the courtroom. As a trial attorney at Berman & Simmons, she helps deliver justice for people who have suffered catastrophic and life-altering injuries. Her practice includes personal injury lawsuits arising out of medical errors, child sexual abuse, reckless driving, and dangerous premises.

Elizabeth has a reputation as a strategic and fearless advocate for her clients in medical malpractice cases. She takes on claims against medical providers and hospitals across Maine and Massachusetts. Her experience with handling complex healthcare negligence includes cases involving spinal injury, paralysis, surgical errors, nerve damage, delayed diagnosis, and birth injuries.

Elizabeth is at the forefront of trauma-informed lawyering, which gives her the specialized tools to represent survivors of sexual abuse and assault.
