Elizabeth Sitgreaves
Liz served as a Senior Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Frank G. Clement, Jr. of the Tennessee Court of Appeals before transitioning into private practice. Liz is a self-proclaimed “people person” who enjoys helping others using the law as a conduit. She enjoys listening to her clients, understanding what they are going through, then sharing their story with the courts so her client’s story is given a voice.
Liz has been a long-time Board Member of the Lawyers’ Association for Women (LAW), Marion Griffin Chapter, and currently serves as the President of the organization. In 2015, she received LAW’s inaugural Rising Star Award. Liz spearheaded LAW’s Coalition for Fair Courts, which provided voter education and outreach during the retention elections of Tennessee’s appellate court judges.
Liz is also a member of the Nashville Bar Association, and co-chairs the Circuit and Chancery Court Committee. She previously co-chaired the NBA’s Appellate Practice Committee and was in the inaugural class of the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Leadership Forum. Additionally, she is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and was in the 2016 Class of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program. Liz is a Barrister in the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court and has also served as an Associate Member of the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court. She is also a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
