Ellen Renaud
Experienced Advocate for Employees Suffering DiscriminationEllen Renaud has represented employees in public and private sector discrimination claims since September 2002. Ms. Renaud has litigated cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the D.C. Human Rights Act. She has tried and won several cases in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Ms. Renaud has also argued before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the District of Columbia and Fourth Circuits seventeen times and prepared briefs in those and several more cases. In eleven of the seventeen cases argued, Ms. Renaud persuaded the Circuit Court to reverse the lower court and rule in her client's favor.
