Biography

I am Attorney Eric Blankenship of Blankenship Law, LLC and Indiana is my home. For over 19 years I have served as a representative and counsel for Hoosiers who face life changing legal matters. In my experience, I have come to understand just how much zealousness is necessary for success in criminal defense and family law cases.

Whether my clients need aggressive representation in a divorce trial, or someone to help defend their rights when facing a criminal charge, I work hard to make sure their voices are heard. I also offer resources to individuals who are suffering with a personal injury and who require legal aid. My offices are in Carmel and Valparaiso, and I provide legal services for clients throughout Northwest Indiana and the Indianapolis metro.

I spent years as a criminal prosecutor, first as a deputy prosecutor for Hamilton County and eventually as Major Felony Supervisor of four felony courts in Marion County. Then, after five years, I became Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Blackford County.

Thanks to these experiences, I know what it takes to present effective arguments and potentially deliver reduced or dismissed charges. When you face criminal penalties, your future and your rights are in jeopardy. A mistake shouldn’t ruin your life. As your caring advocate, I will fight for you.
