Biography

I did not take the direct route to my current position as an attorney with Frame & Frame, LLC. In fact, I had worked there for three years in the early 2010s before receiving my degree. These experiences made it easier for me to see that this was the perfect job for me. In particular, I’ve always been fulfilled by helping people and as part of team at Frame & Frame, I get a lot of satisfaction helping taking the weight off of people’s shoulders. It’s also very rewarding to be a trusted advisor with Frame & Frame, which has been helping people in our community for over 65 years.

I love my job as an attorney with Frame & Frame. It’s important to me to make a difference and to help people prepare for the future. I’m also proud to be a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Association for Justice.

I practice Estate Planning, Family Law, and Personal Injury Law. This type of law is very personal and can have a real impact on a person’s life. Helping people, young and old, to recognize, plan, and organize their priorities for any unforeseen circumstances gives me a real sense of service and satisfaction. I’m protecting lives and assets and making a real impact on my clients, their families, and their futures.

I absolutely love my job as an attorney with Frame & Frame. Getting to meet and care for people is one of the perks of my job. It’s important to me to make a difference and to help people prepare for their future. If I can help you or anyone in your family, I’d love to meet with you and assess your estate needs.

Legal Guardianship in Maryland, https://youtu.be/unj6ryXtdec
Guardianship can be important for families with children or adults who need help making legal decisions. This can be appropriate for families with parents, children, and seniors who may temporarily or permanently unable to provide adequate care and oversight for themselves or others. In these cases, the child, parent, or grandparent or another adult could take control through a guardianship.

Legal Answers
Q. my mother has no living will. can one of my siblings sell the home and inherite the money without recourse.
A: If she is incapacitated then she cannot sign a power of attorney for decisions. A living will does not pertain to assets or disposition of property, only to what happens to your person in certain medical situations while living. Even if your brother were to be the power of attorney for your mother validly, he is unable to unjustly enrich himself and he has a fiduciary duty to your mother.
Q. my mother is in the hospital incapacitated. she does not have a will. we're five siblings. we need a power of attorney
A: If she able to write her wishes, a skilled attorney will be able to know if she has the required understanding to be able to sign a power of attorney and/or advanced directive. She would need to make those choices as to who she wanted to be her agent though and I would recommend that she meet with an attorney alone without a sibling present at least for part of the meeting. Some social workers are working with law firms to allow for meetings and signings in the hospitals.
