I am an attorney at Wachler & Associates, P.C., where my practice covers all areas of healthcare law.
I earned my law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, receiving the William J. Bishop Jr. Award for my distinguished performance in international law. I also hold a B.A. in International Development Studies from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I graduated summa cum laude.
Before my tenure at Wachler & Associates, I dedicated my legal career to humanitarian immigration law. Following law school, I spent six months in Cairo, Egypt, representing refugees from sub-Saharan Africa in the UNHCR refugee status determination process. Upon returning to the United States, I worked in New York assisting unaccompanied minors from Central America, many of whom were escaping gang violence in their home countries. I then returned to Michigan, my home state, to continue my work with the immigrant community. There, I defended migrants from deportation, helped them secure lasting protection, and assisted in reuniting them with their families. After five years in this field, I transitioned to healthcare law, bringing with me the same passion for safeguarding clients' rights.
I am admitted to the State Bar of New York.
