Evan is deeply connected to every practice area he handles, and for good reason.
Real Estate Closings - Evan grew up with many lawyers, judges, and real estate investors in his family. At dinners and holidays, Evan would lean in to hear how those investors handled many different kinds of real estate deals, and he loved it. As a longtime member of the the Attorney's Title Fund, Evan helps close real estate transactions—helping people buy, sell, and refinance.
Foreclosure Defense - When the foreclosure crisis hit in 2008, Evan dove in. He has appeared for hundreds of trials and dozen of appeals, helping clients achieve their goals. When Florida foreclosure defense attorneys formed a group to help better serve their clients, they asked Evan to serve as their president. He accepted and continues to serve in that role.
Personal Injury - At an early age, Evan learned from his father, a very experienced trial lawyer and former judge. His father would routinely share the stories of the day with Evan, not only to be an actively involved parent but also to seek feedback. Negligence and "damages" are issues of fact for a jury to decide. And kids are brutally honest. In 1999 (during Evan's first jury trial as part of a hard-fought personal injury case against Wal-Mart), Evan delivered the closing argument that helped return the seventh largest verdict in Broward County that year. He has handled many trials since and remains eager to help people seek justice for their injuries.
Probate - Growing up in a large, older family, Evan has seen a lot of family members pass away. The loss of a loved one was traumatic, and probate added another layer of complication. After personally living through several probates, Evan began serving others in this area.
Estate Planning - As older family members passed, Evan saw that good estate planning eliminated the need for probate and made life so much easier for those already grieving a loss.
Evan loves serving others.

- Q. Who responsible for the mortgage, if the husband name on it and not the wife but she’s on the Deed
- A: The party who signs the note is the one that's responsible for payment. But if that party does not pay, the lender can typically foreclose the mortgage and force the sale of the property.
