Frank Hupfl III
Hupfl Law, PLLC
Frank Hupfl has been practicing law since 2011. Frank spent the first few years of his practice defending employers and businesses in employment litigation. In that role, he was a trial team member with both regional and international law firms based out of Virginia, Atlanta, Georgia, and Washington D.C.
After discovering that his interests and passions were better served helping injured persons, Frank decided a career change was in order, and in 2015, Frank moved back to Richmond and worked for a prominent personal injury firm for 8 years, dedicating his practice solely to the representation of injured persons and their families.
Frank also served as counsel securing a $38.2 million settlement for a class action lawsuit that included more than 10,750 universal life insurance policy holders of Banner Life Insurance Co. and William Penn Life Insurance Co. The plaintiffs in these class actions alleged that the companies unjustifiably increased the cost of insurance charges on the policies for the sole purpose of benefiting shareholders and clearing their near-term liabilities.
Frank’s commitment to serving victims of personal injury led him to found Hupfl Law, PLLC, where he continues his passion for representing injured persons in the community. A trial attorney, Frank handles every case as one destined for trial, and has tried dozens of cases in Virginia. Frank’s efforts and preparation have resulted in numerous trial victories, including a verdict of $1,250,000 in King William County, Virginia, which is currently the largest jury verdict in that county. Outside the courtroom, Frank has secured for his clients multiple settlements over $1,000,000.
