Gerald Emmett Brunn
Brunn & FlynnSan Francisco native Gerald E. Brunn holds Martindale-Hubbell‘s AV-Preeminent rating, confirming that he has reached “the height of professional excellence…and the highest levels of skill and integrity.” He represents clients in trials and litigation; personal injury and wrongful death cases; employment law; and business and corporate law matters. Mr. Brunn has served as a Special Master for the State Bar of California and is an adjunct professor at Chapman University and Modesto Junior College. He teaches Business Law, Employment and Labor Law, Constitutional Law, Legal History, and Political Science. Mr. Brunn received mediation training from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law and serves on the Mediation and Arbitration Panels of Superior Courts throughout Northern California. In 2012, Mr. Brunn retired as a Colonel from the United States Army Reserve after thirty-three years of service. His assignments included Associate Professor of Law at the United States Military Academy, West Point; Dean of the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School; and Staff Judge Advocate for United States Army Japan. Mr. Brunn’s military awards include the Legion of Merit for “educating, training and inspiring the next generation of Army officers… His superior work ethic, outstanding professionalism, and dedicated leadership will have an immeasurable, positive impact upon the United States Army for years to come.” Colonel (Ret.) Brunn serves as Congressional District Coordinator for West Point’s Admissions Directorate, and he is the Chairman of two Congressional Academy Nomination Committees.
