Grady H. Williams, Jr. is the managing attorney of Grady H. Williams, Jr., LL.M., Attorneys at Law, P.A. Mr. Williams started his career as a real estate, corporate, and finance attorney in Texas, but for more than 30 years has focused his practice on senior adult services, including elder law, estate planning, state and federal benefits eligibility planning, tax planning, special needs planning, and probate and trust administration in Florida. He also serves as general counsel for local businesses, government entities, and elected officials. Mr. Williams is a two-time past president of the Clay County Bar Association, and served as President of the Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA) in 2021. He now serves on the statewide Florida Joint Public Policy Task Force for the Elderly and Disabled, the Board of Directors of ElderSource Area Agency on Aging and Aging & Disability Resource Center of NE Florida, and the Community Advisory Board for Haven (hospice and related services) in Orange Park. He is an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Originally started while Grady was still in the Graduate Tax Program in Gainesville, the first full-time permanent office was founded in Orange Park in 1992. The firm primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, elder law, corporate and business law, asset protection, real estate and mortgage law, tax planning, Medicaid planning, construction law, and representation of local government entities and elected and appointed public officials. Grady serves as managing attorney and is active full-time in the practice, currently with the assistance of another full-time attorney, two senior adult of counsel attorneys, and support staff.

A "Southwest Plan" entity in the pre-FIRREA environment of the late 1980's, Grady had primary responsibility over legal issues involving REO, its management, marketing, leasing and disposition. Much of this time, Grady served as the principal business and legal negotiator on multimillion dollar transactions. In addition to legal and business decision making, Grady provided administrative leadership to a small team of lawyers and staff dedicated to this function. Grady also acted in many of the typical practice areas of a financial institution, such as customer service support and administrative contracts, leasing, regulatory compliance, and financing.
