Greg Austin
Trial Lawyer
I became involved in my first family law case when a then current client wanted a divorce that required the division of the family enterprise and substantial assets acquired during the marriage.
Later, as more family law cases came along, I realized that I enjoy working with opposing counsel who are often open to reasonable dialog and reasonable outcomes. What a nice thing that is.
I am occasionally asked by courts to represent children in high conflict divorce and custody cases without pay. I do that for the children. They didn't make their parents' mess and are usually the most vulnerable members of the disintegrating family.
I have been defending criminally accused people in Oregon since 1984, regardless of the nature of the allegations against them, asking only that they pay a fair price for my time, talent, energy, and dedication to their defense.
