Greg K. Vitali concentrates his practice in litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of Construction and General Commercial Law. Greg has many years experience representing contractors in NJ filing and foreclosing on construction liens.
As a trial attorney, Greg represents owners, contractors, specialty trade subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, design professionals and others involved in the construction trades in both the public and private sector. He regularly appears in the New Jersey Superior Court, the United States District Court for New Jersey, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association.
Greg has extensive experience in all phases of construction litigation, including the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, the filing and foreclosure of construction liens, and the enforcement of contractors’ rights under New Jersey’s Prompt Pay legislation. He also has extensive experience in public contracts law, particularly in representing clients in bid disputes and protests, as well as in the filing and perfection of contractors’ and suppliers’ rights under New Jersey’s Municipal Mechanics’ Lien Law and New Jersey’s Bond Act.
In addition to construction law, Greg’s practice includes the representation of corporate clients in general commercial litigation. Greg regularly appears in State and Federal Court, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings, to litigate commercial contract disputes on behalf of many of the firm's corporate clients.
