Legal Answers
Q. Hi, what happen if I break the commercial lease due to slow business due corona ?
A: Yes you could be held liable, but you would need to be name in the lease as the lessee or a guarantor to the lease.
Q. I was engaged and rented an apartment with my partner but I traveled for work, so I never got to sign the 1 year lease.
A: It depends on the lease terms. Typically tenants will be jointly and severally responsible for the rent amount.
Q. If dust is left behind on the wall from pictures being on there can my landlord take out of my security
A: It depends, but if it is normal "wear and tear", it should not have been deducted.
