- Q. iM on a Interstate Compact from Ky to TN. MY parole officer and I have different dates as my EXP. Date by like 4 years?
- A: Contact the lawyer who represented you and get a copy of the signed judgement. That will have the exact sentence you are to serve. After that will come the method of calculation for that sentence. The state where you were convicted will have that authority and your lawyer should be able to contact them and determine if the dates are correct.
- Q. My son was arrested and charged with dom assault x2 resisting arrest and paraphernalia, 4 days ago, no bail set?
- A: Your son needs a lawyer! It should be possible to have a bond hearing well before October. He is owed a proper bond hearing within days after his arrest. Hire a lawyer who practices in the county where this happened. They should be able to help you.
- Q. Hello. What charge is attempted contraband into a penal institution? I have a clean record. Can I get a pre trail devers
- A: It could be a class D or E felony or a class A misdemeanor It depends on how they charge it.
An "attempt" on an E felony could be an A misdemeanor.
You really should talk to a lawyer about this.
