Hutch’s practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, auto negligence, product liability claims, class actions, and mass torts. As trial counsel, Hutch has recovered several millions of dollars in jury awards for his clients. These results have also led to Hutch to recover millions of settlement dollars for his clients that chose not to go to trial.
As a board-certified civil trial attorney, Hutch has been evaluated for professionalism and tested for expertise by The Florida Bar. Only 7% of Florida Bar members are board-certified.
Hutch has been nominated by his peers to serve as the President Elect of the St. Petersburg Bar Association. Hutch has served on the Young Lawyers Board of the Florida Justice Association and is a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. Hutch is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and has been recognized by Super Lawyers.
Hutch, a fourth-generation Florida native, attended Florida State University and Stetson University College of Law where he earned dual J.D. and M.B.A. degrees. Hutch then went to work as a prosecutor in Pinellas County, where he took very serious jury trials to verdict, including murder, sexual battery, drug trafficking, and child abuse.
