Ingrid Hooglander
Ms. Hooglander attended Cleveland Marshall College of Law and Cleveland State University after graduating from the University of Florida. She not only graduated with her juris doctor but also a master of public administration degree. Shortly after graduation, she began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. During her tenure there, she progressed from a county prosecutor to a top felony prosecutor. She gained the experience of over 25 jury trials and a wide array of bench trials during this time. In 2001 Ms. Hooglander began as a Staff Attorney for the Circuit Criminal and Circuit Civil Judges preparing judicial orders on all litigation motions. Eventually, she stepped up her game, moved into private practice, and has held the position of In-House Counsel for two privately-owned companies. Throughout her legal career, Ms. Hooglander has maintained a diversified caseload involving insurance defense, landlord-tenant conflict, business and corporate litigation, employment and labor law, family law, healthcare law, contracts and contract review, social security/disability, and criminal law. Then in 2008 after gaining years of experience under the watchful eyes of her predecessors, Ms. Hooglander opened her own private practice that has grown into what Brandon Legal Group is today. Along with her successes in the courtroom, Ms. Hooglander is an accomplished professor who has taught at the University of Phoenix, Kaplan University, Hillsborough Community College, and Saint Leo University. She has taught courses in the areas of business administration, criminal justice and paralegal studies. Outside of work, Ms. Hooglander is avidly involved in the Brandon, Florida community. She is an active member of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Brandon. Additionally, she is a graduate and former Co-Chair of the Brandon Leadership Program.
