J. T. Herber III
Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLCJ.T. Herber, III primarily practices in the fields of criminal defense and civil litigation, including personal injury. His criminal defense practice includes the representation of clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges, as well as serious traffic violations in the Courts of Common Pleas throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania. Attorney Herber previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Schuylkill County. In civil cases, J.T. represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of civil disputes, including personal injury and wrongful death cases, as well as real estate, commercial, construction, landlord-tenant, and collections matters. Despite being the youngest partner in the firm, he has achieved numerous six figure recoveries in personal injury/premises liability, real estate, estate, and collections litigation. In addition, Attorney Herber has also achieved numerous defense victories, prevailing with respect to many cases by having them dismissed early in litigation through the use of preliminary objections, or via summary judgment. J.T. also drafts wills, powers of attorney and living wills/healthcare powers of attorney, and handles real estate transactions through the firm’s in-house title insurance agency, Penn National Abstract Services, Inc.
