Jake received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Always seeking to be a trial attorney, Jake honed his trial skills early on by both participating in and coaching mock trial teams that competed in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. Jake also gathered real courtroom experience prosecuting for two and a half years, under student practice rules, as a felony Sentencing Law Clerk with the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. Following law school, Jake worked at the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office as a contract attorney in the Juvenile Division as well as the Child Protection Division.
