Biography

I am passionate about helping people solve their issues. In addition to running my own law firm, I also own other business ventures in various industries, which ownership at times has pushed me to think outside the box to solve more complex issues. This gives me an added depth of problem solving that my clients need. I fight hard to provide my clients with competent and efficient representation in my full-service firm.

Legal Answers
Q. Say we've been living here 43 Years my self since I been born my mother was born here
A: Several factors go into obtaining title via adverse possession. Certainly you are over the time period required by Louisiana Law, but if the actual owner has given you permission to live there, you will not likely prevail. You should speak to an experienced real estate attorney that can evaluate the actual facts of your case.
Q. How do I go about filing contempt of court against my ex wife?
A: You should speak with an experienced Family Law attorney. You have to file a rule for contempt—this is typically done in the jurisdiction in which your original pleadings were filed. It’s pertinent to note that in order to prove contempt, there must be a willful violation of an existing court order. An experienced Family Law attorney should be able to best advise you as to your particular situation and help prepare you so you can have the best chances of success. Hope this helps.
Q. If you write your will don't you need a few witnesses. And how if that form said to be in format of any kind
A: If the will is handwritten, you do not need witnesses. There are, however, other requirements that must be met in order to ensure the will is valid. It's best to speak with a succession attorney.
