Jaime Lopez

Jaime Lopez is a native of McAllen, Texas. In 2005, Mr. Lopez received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas. In 2008, Mr. Lopez graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with honors. He was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient and competed in the Thad T. Hutchinson Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Mr. Lopez interned for the Honorable Ricardo H. Hinojosa, as well as a top law firm in McAllen, Texas. Following graduation, Mr. Lopez spent three years practicing commercial litigation and toxic torts with a prominent law firm in Houston, Texas. He finally decided to return to his hometown of McAllen, Texas, and joined the Law Office of J.F. Tinoco in 2011, as a general practitioner. In 2014, Mr. Lopez began a clerkship with Chief Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa, Chief Judge of the Southern District of Texas.
