James Adam Bridwell
Hardison & Cochran Attorneys at Law
Workers who have been injured on the job or who suffer occupational diseases oftentimes must face a frustrating waiting game to receive the benefits they deserve. Attorney James Adam Bridwell, who focuses his practice solely on workers’ compensation cases, knows what it takes to help clients get their lives back together.
Bridwell is a native South Carolinian. He received a B.A. in marketing and management from the University of South Carolina before coming to Raleigh to attend Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While in law school, he was a case summary writer for the Campbell Law Observer and interned in a district attorney’s office.
Upon receiving his law degree in 2005, he came directly to Hardison & Cochran and has concentrated his practice on workers’ compensation law ever since. Since joining the law firm, Bridwell has attained Board Certification in North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Law, meaning he has received specialized training and passed an exam in this area of law.
Workers’ compensation is an area of law that requires substantial interaction with clients, which is one reason why Bridwell enjoys his work.
Bridwell, who was named as a partner in the firm in 2015, has prevailed in cases that have gone to the North Carolina Court of Appeals and holds board certification in workers compensation from the North Carolina State Bar Association. He was named as a Rising Star from Super Lawyers Magazine in 2014.
In his spare time, Bridwell enjoys golf and fishing, but his primary focus is his family and raising two young children.
