- Q. If I was wearing high heels when I was injured on someone's property, will I be considered partially negligent
- A: Depending on whether it was reasonable to wear heels in those conditions. If you were treading through the grass, mud, or snow then probably not much you can do about a recovery. It would be unsafe to wear heels in those conditions. - Q. I was convicted of arson as a minor. Found guilty as a felony how long does it follow me. And how can I get it expunged.
- A: Consult a criminal attorney in your community and ask how much he or she charges to seek an expungement of the conviction from your record. It is not cheap. Typically, the amount of time that has passed since the conviction with you getting in any more trouble is a factor as is that you committed the crime when you were under 18.
- Q. Question about fender bender
- A: As a personal injury attorney, there are good reasons to ask for the amount of your coverage. First among them is whether the injured person should contact his or her own insurance and put them on notice of an "under-insured motorist claim". The injured person has an obligation to let his or her own insurance company know if there is an impending claim should you have insufficient coverage. It is correct that you do not have to disclose the information, but doing so would likely avoid you being sued to obtain the information. Once suit is filed against you, you will be asked to answer mandatory questions about your insurance coverage.
