Jared Chaykin has spent a decade representing clients in divorce and family law matters, whether through successfully negotiating amicable agreements or by zealously litigating high-stakes, contested Florida divorce and family law matters. Though he always aims to help his clients reach a peaceful, amicable resolution, Jared is realistic and ready to litigate when necessary.
If his clients want a yes-man, he tells them to keep looking; that’s not him. He will zealously defend his clients, but he always begins with an honest assessment of the client's facts and circumstances, the law, and the real-world effects of his legal advice.
Jared, a New Jersey native, was taken to South Florida by his mother when he was a child. What he thought was just a brief, fun visit to Disney World, was apparently a long-term move to South Florida amidst his parents’ bitter divorce. What followed was a lengthy and, at times, scary, custody battle that required Jared to testify before a judge at a young age. Having witnessed firsthand the consequences of contested divorce and family law proceedings, Jared was determined to dedicate his career to helping families like his. He founded Chaykin Law Group, P.A. in 2013 on a mission to represent clients facing the toughest of times, just like his family.
