Virginia Family Law Litigator Handling Contested Divorce & Custody Disputes
As a native of Northern Virginia, I have built my practice around providing results-oriented, strategic representation to individuals and families navigating the complexities of Virginia family law. My work focuses on a full range of domestic relations matters, including contested divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony), and equitable distribution of marital property. I represent clients across Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, with a particular concentration on high-conflict and high-asset divorce cases.
My clientele includes C-level executives, business owners, professional athletes, media figures, and public officials—individuals who require not only sophisticated legal representation, but also discretion and clarity throughout a difficult process. In a single calendar year, my firm successfully negotiated or litigated family law matters involving the division of over $500 million in marital assets. I have represented clients with eight- and nine-figure family wealth portfolios and have been qualified as an expert in Virginia family law in a foreign jurisdiction.
Prior to founding my own firm, I worked alongside the partners of several of Northern Virginia’s most respected boutique family law practices. I also served as a judicial clerk to the judges of the U.S. Tax Court, gaining valuable insight into the intersection of family law and complex financial matters such as business valuation, asset tracing, and executive compensation.
My work has been featured in publications including Forbes, Self, Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Washington Business Journal, Super Lawyers, and Ten Leaders in the Law. I am committed to helping each client define their goals and navigate their path forward with integrity, discretion, and focused legal advocacy.
