Jason L. Solotaroff
Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP
I am an experienced and skilled Attorney at Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP. I am committed to advocating for the underdog in Civil Rights, Employment Law and Criminal Law matters.
I have successfully represented employees in a wide variety of disputes, such as breach of contract, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and whistleblower cases. My clients have included highly compensated banking employees, lawyers, physicians, teachers and factory workers. Additionally, I prosecute class actions on behalf of large groups of employees with wage, hour, and other employment-related claims. I also represent individuals in investigatory and criminal defense matters.
I received my B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 1987. In 1990, I earned my J.D from Columbia Law School, where I was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an Editor of the Columbia Law Review. Following law school, I clerked for the Honorable Eugene H. Nickerson in United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. I have prior experience as an Attorney with the Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division and Federal Defender in the EDNY. I joined Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP in 2002.
I have the trial experience, instincts and toughness of an inner city Public Defender, and the analytic and communication skills of an Ivy-League trained lawyer. I am dedicated to providing aggressive advocacy and fighting for the best possible outcomes for each of my clients.
