Jason Ramsland
Jason Ramsland is an attorney of counsel at Johnson Marlowe LLP. He focuses on business and corporate transactions and litigation, employment related matters, and business development.
Over the years Jason has helped clients both big and small, from large corporations with global footprints to the minimum-wage earning employee. He approaches legal disputes with problem-solving philosophy, seeking to help clients through their legal matters with a broad perspective.
Before joining Johnson Marlowe LLP, Jason was a partner with the firm Ball Eggleston in Lafayette, Indiana, where he litigated business disputes and employment related cases. He has taken on huge retailers like Target and Walmart, public employers, and abusive small and medium-sized employers as well. He has successfully defended companies’ legal conduct against charges of discrimination.
His experience in business disputes includes successes in shareholder, partner, and member disputes, claims of breach of fiduciary duties, breaches of contract, and litigation on restrictive covenants. He has shepherded business dissolutions, disputes with builders and contractors, and land ownership to positive results.
He has also worked with clients to close purchases and sales of businesses or other major assets, from a < $100,000.00 board game retail shop to a multi-million dollar industrial outfitter.
