- Q. A court collection agency in Louisiana is refusing to accept any payment less than a $100 on a past due ticket????
- A: Technically, they have been hired to the full amount you owe so they can refuse anything less than that. It isn't practical, but it's likely legal. I would send in the payment anyway. They will likely process it as that is cheaper than taking the time to mail it back to you. Good luck.
- Q. Is there any way to get out of paying an unreasonable loan?
- A: There are too many unknowns to truly answer your question. Is it a federally recognized loan? Is it an accredited university? What language is contained in the contract? I recommend you sit down with a contract lawyer familiar with student loans and review the language. You may have some "outs" or the contract itself may have fatal flaws. It is not unlike posting a question for a doctor like "what's this thing on my arm?" It's hard to say without seeing it. Don't wait too long to get an opinion.
- Q. how do one buy a community land without the fear of be dupe
- A: I am sorry but we need more information to be able to assist you. What is "community land" and have you been dupe before? In what way?
