Jeana P. McMurray is an experienced litigator with a strong background in matters of real estate, title, foreclosure, landlord tenant, collections, contracts, wills, estates, and business disputes. Jeana prides herself on being able to swiftly resolve matters for her clients using both alternative dispute resolution and tactful litigation when the situation calls for it.
Jeana has been in private practice representing homeowners, mortgage lenders, loan servicers, banks, landlords, business owners, and families since 2012 and has handled matters ranging from complex mortgage disputes to simple will or deed drafting. Jeana takes a personal interest in each of her clients ensuring that expectations are properly communicated and all questions are answered.
After finishing her bachelor’s degree at the University of California San Diego, Jeana pursued her juris doctorate at Regent University School of Law. Jeana focused her time in law school as a founding member of the Center for Global Justice and spent a summer abroad drafting legislation to combat human trafficking in India.
Jeana is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
A San Diego native, Jeana relocated to Virginia in 2009 and now calls Yorktown home. She lives with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Jeana enjoys baking, day trips to the mountains and beach, and visiting the local sights and sounds on the Peninsula.
