Jeffrey P. Rogyom
Jeff graduated from Boston University School of Law’s Tax LLM program and practice as a tax, business, and estate planning attorney.
Jeff advises clients on legal and tax issues relating to business transactions, start-ups, corporate mergers & acquisitions, business successions, estate planning, and real estate. Jeff practices both federal and state tax law, and he assists individuals and businesses with tax audit defense and tax planning in the areas of income, corporate, partnership, franchise, sales and use, property, and estate taxes. Jeff's background allows him to consider clients' personal, business, and tax needs. Jeff was the 2013 president of the Maryland Junior Chamber (the “Jaycees”) and previously served as president of the Towson Junior Chamber. Jeff also served on the board of directors for the Towson Chamber of Commerce and the Towsontown Springfest Committee.
Jeff was born in New Orleans and practiced as an accountant before attending law school. He was admitted as a lawyer to the Louisiana State Bar and, following his move to Baltimore, was admitted to the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. Prior to Boston University School of Law, Jeff graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, received his MBA from the University of New Orleans, and received a degree in finance from Louisiana State University. Jeff is a member of the tax sections of the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
