Biography

Attorney Bio Jeffery P. Story, Attorney at Law: Jeff Story graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2005 and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar that same year. During the past eight years he has worked in civil litigation in Chicago. He is married to Amy Marinacci, a fellow attorney that he met in law school. Amy grew up in Evanston where her family still lives. Jeff and Amy have a young son, Gabriel who goes to Pope John XXIII School in Evanston. Jeff recently lost his mother and father within two months of each other and has personal insight into what a living will, funeral planning and a family trust can mean to the family of a disabled or recently deceased person. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, National and State Chapters; Elder Counsel, LLC; the Illinois State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Sections; and the Chicago Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee. Jeff enjoys working with elders and their families to help them plan for aging and also helping them to choose the best legal options available to remove themselves from crises when they arise. When he is not practicing law, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and son; cooking for his friends and family; playing his guitars; bicycle restoration and riding and listening to good Jazz music.
