Jeffrey Scott Badgley
Badgley Law Group
My practice is about helping individuals, families, and small businesses. My firm works with injured people to obtain compensation for their injuries. We also work with individuals and families who are in financial distress who need help with unmanageable debt.
I am board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar. I have extensive experience litigating cases involving professional malpractice, personal injuries, insurance disputes, real estate disputes, and business disputes. Cases that I have tried in court before juries include wrongful death claims, medical malpractice, automobile injuries, brain injuries to children, delay in diagnosis of cancer, and orthopedic injuries.
I have represented clients seeking compensation, and I have also defended clients who are being sued. My experience in representing clients on both sides of a case gives me a deeper understanding of how to achieve the best outcome for my clients, whether it be a favorable settlement, or a victory in the courtroom.
I received my legal education from the University of Florida School of Law, where I graduated with honors in 1986. Following graduation, I worked as an assistant to a judge in the Fifth District Court of Appeals, which decides all appeals for the Central Florida area. Afterwards, I worked with several large law firms, until I started my own law firm in 2006.
I enjoy practicing as a small firm so that I can provide direct and personal service to my clients. I believe that being someone's lawyer is a special relationship based on trust. I truly enjoy using my skills, knowledge, and expertise to help my clients resolve what may be the most serious problem that they will ever have.
