Jennifer E Dean
Shoup Legal
Jennifer Dean has worked for many years in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate. She particularly has a passion for ensuring wishes for end-of-life decisions are respected and enforceable with the appropriate directive.
Jennifer grew up in Oklahoma and then moved to California in 2010, after earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. While working with a family law attorney in Santa Barbara, California, Jennifer began attending the paralegal program at U.C. Santa Barbara, and fell in love with the estate planning field, and earned her Paralegal Certificate in 2012.
In the years following, Jennifer worked at estate planning firms in the San Diego area while attending California Western School of Law. In law school, Jennifer served as the President of the Estate Planning Society, and worked with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego in its conservatorship clinics and advanced directive and power of attorney workshops. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctorate in 2016.
After law school, Jennifer continued working to help families at a San Diego law firm, assisting clients with their estate planning, and families dealing with the administration of their estates. She joined the Shoup Legal Team in June 2017.
Jennifer enjoys having conversations with clients that allow them to be comfortable with the estate planning process and addresses each of their concerns. Jennifer also provides compassionate service to help families through the probate process and during the trust administration after the passing of a loved one.
Jennifer lives in beautiful Murrieta, California with her husband and son.
