As a Partner and Consult Attorney at Tully Rinckey PLLC, Jennifer performs initial consultations for a wide range of legal matters, including those relating to family and matrimonial law, trusts and estates, civil litigation, real estate law and private sector employment law.
When performing consultations, Jennifer pulls from over 20 years of legal experience to assess potential and existing clients’ unique situations and provide guidance on how to move forward. At Tully Rinckey PLLC, she has concentrated her practice on family and matrimonial law, elder law, estate planning and real estate law. She has also handled bankruptcy, business law and private sector employment law matters.
Jennifer is the former Deputy Chief Clerk of the Albany County Surrogate’s Court. She is a frequent speaker at various bar association conferences and seminars on topics such as Article 81 guardianships, estate and trust administration, Medicaid planning and advance directives. She has conducted training sessions required by the Office of Court Administration for Guardians, Court Evaluators and Court Appointed Counsel through the Albany County Bar Association. Jennifer is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Elder Law, Family Law and Trusts and Estates Sections), Capital District Women’s Bar Association and Albany County Bar Association.
Jennifer has provided pro bono legal services through the Legal Project and the Pro Se Divorce Clinic in Schenectady. She was recognized as Empire State Counsel by the New York State Bar Association for providing in excess of 50 hours of pro bono legal services in a year.
Jennifer is currently a member of the Board of the local American Heart Association. She was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast New York for 12 years, and served as both a “Wish Granter” and as a member of the Corporate Documents Committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
