Jeremy David Pasternak
Jeremy Pasternak has been a steadfast advocate for individuals and small businesses in employment and civil rights cases since 1995. His legal career commenced at Santa Clara University School of Law, where he graduated in 1995, earning a Public Interest Scholarship and contributing as a member of the Law Review. Prior to his graduation, Mr. Pasternak honed his skills at Rudy, Exelrod & Zieff, and the Legal Aid Society of San Francisco/Employment Law Center, both firms specializing in employment disputes.
His post-graduation career began at O’Donnell & Mandel in Santa Monica, followed by a position at the Law Offices of David H. Greenburg in Beverly Hills. It was here that he achieved a significant legal victory in Lee v. ENPC, securing a $1.4 million verdict for a terminated CEO, inclusive of over $1 million in punitive damages. From 2001 to 2004, he was the senior employment-law associate at the Dolan Law Firm in San Francisco and then joined Cooper & Mora before establishing his own practice in 2005.
Since founding the Law Offices of Jeremy Pasternak in 2005, he has continued to champion the rights of clients in employment and civil rights matters. Jeremy handles cases involving sexual harassment, discrimination, disability accommodations, wrongful termination, and many other employment law matters. Among his notable cases is Carlson v. eHarmony.com, where he served as class counsel in a landmark case addressing the exclusion of gay and lesbian customers from the website. This case contributed to his recognition as a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California's Consumer Attorney of the Year award. Mr. Pasternak's dedication to addressing complex workplace issues underscores his commitment to justice and equality in the employment sector.
