Jessica Ferrante, of Rossville, Tennessee, was hired by Rice Caperton Rice PLLC as an associate attorney after she graduated from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2012. Mrs. Ferrante excelled in her academic studies. She graduated from Collierville High School in 2005. From there, she attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she graduated with Honors in 2009. Mrs. Ferrante was ranked in the top of her class at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
She was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in November 2012 and is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Memphis Bar Association. Jessica was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in February 2019 and is now a member of the Mississippi Bar Association as well.
In June of 2016, Mrs. Ferrante was named one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Memphis’ Finest Young Professionals. She has an Avvo Rating of 10.0 out of a possible 10.0 and received their Client’s Choice Award. Mrs. Ferrante also was named one of Memphis Magazine’s Women to Watch in 2018. In 2019 and 2020, she was named one of the 10 Best Attorneys in Tennessee by American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. Most notably, she has received the Top 10 Under 40 Attorney Award for Tennessee from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
In March 2016 the Tennessee Supreme Court named Mrs. Ferrante as a Hearing Committee Member for the Board of Professional Responsibility, Division IX. She was reappointed for a second term in March 2019 and will be an active member through 2022.
