Joana Kaso, Esq. LL.M. is a compassionate, driven, and competent attorney who represents individuals, families and small businesses throughout New York. Her practice focuses on family and matrimonial law, social security law, immigration law, real estate law, and small business law.
Prior to opening her own law office, Ms. Kaso worked for over a decade as a public interest attorney for legal services in New York City, the Bronx and Westchester County where she was able to learn the intricacies of Civil Litigation. Before moving in the United States, Ms. Kaso worked as a legal expert for the Parliament of Albania.
Ms. Kaso is an accomplished legal services professional with over 18 years of experience in public interest law and government settings both in the United States and Albania. She graduated from the University of Tirana, School of Law and holds a Master of Laws (L.L.M.) focused in American Jurisprudence from Cardozo School of Law in New York.
Ms. Kaso is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association. She also serves as a guest lecturer at local schools and community groups. In her spare time, Ms. Kaso enjoys traveling, writing and baking.
